Why Sea Kayak with Us?

Sea Kayaking with Adventure Beyond is a unique and sublime experience. We are lucky enough to have some of Wales' most beautiful coastline right on our front door.

You will paddle along at your own pace, marveling at the stunning views of Britain's only coastal National Park. As you mingle with wildlife and explore hidden caves, you will experience the coastline from a completely new perspective. Adverse Conditions & Safety

Weather & Sea State:
If the sea is too rough or too windy to make a safe trip, we will adapt the session or change to an alternative session / location (often a sheltered river). We can still do the session in the rain.

Physical Ability:
No swimming ability is required as the kit keeps you afloat. However, please be aware that climbing back onto the kayak from deep water does require some physical effort. We can aid this action, but it can be tiring.

Common Questions

For introductory sessions, we use 'sit-on-top' kayaks. These are very stable and have no enclosed cockpit to worry about. If you fall off, you just climb back on again!
All of our standard sea kayak day trips are circular or return to the same beach. If you are on a multi-day expedition, we will arrange a shuttle for you.
Yes, but use a secure leash. Contact lenses are fine but carry a risk of washing out.
Rough seas can be fun for surfing waves! However, if it is unsafe, we will contact you to move to a sheltered location, use the local river, or offer an alternative activity.
