Jethro sets the standard for Adventure Beyond, establishing the company in 1997. Following a very respectable career as an international slalom kayaker, Jet has become a prominent figure in both the activity provision and outdoor education scenes.
Not just a keen paddler, Jet also enjoys climbing, coasteering, and the occasional expedition. His work has seen him partner with universities, schools, and youth groups across the UK, Europe, and the rest of the World.

Dai has been involved with Adventure Beyond for many years. Since leaving the police force, he has become the company's Corporate, Events, and Expedition Manager. Dai is a keen hiker, climber, and canoeist and spends his time between the UK and sunny Mexico.

Rhod has been a close friend of Jet since they studied together at college. He has a keen interest in travel and adventure. When he's not leading our activities, he will likely be found traveling the coastlines of Wales, looking for the perfect wave to surf.

Clare grew up locally by the sea and has a background in Scouts, Youth Work, and the Justice System. She was the first British Canoeing #ShePaddles Ambassador for Wales (2020/21) and was awarded the "Volunteer of the Year Award".
Clare is a driving force for inclusivity, coordinating the local LGBTQ+ community group and serving as a Brand Ambassador for multiple paddlesport companies. When not instructing, she is usually biking, taking photos, or paddling for pleasure.

Following a 28-year career in the Royal Navy, Mike leads an incredibly active life. He has completed numerous marathons worldwide, long-distance rowing challenges, and triathlons—including the Ballarat Ironman 70.3 in Australia.
Highlights include scaling Cotopaxi (19,300ft) in Ecuador for his 60th birthday and walking 920km of the 'Camino de Santiago' in just 31 days.

Rhys holds a BA (Hons) in Outdoor Education and is a highly qualified coach (Level 5 Kayak, Level 3 Canoe, 4* Sea Leader). He has worked as a Sea Kayak Guide in Malaysia and spent 6 seasons at American summer camps.
Rhys enjoys "journeying"—whether canoeing, kayaking, or biking. His proudest moment was being awarded 'Young Volunteer Coach of the Year' for Carmarthenshire.

The most bearded member of staff! Before joining us, Rhydian worked as a Ranger in the Brecon Beacons. He holds a BA in Outdoor Education and is a Lead Instructor across all our activities.
In his spare time, he paddles tasty waterfalls. He has also worked as a Motor Sport Photographer in the summer and managed French Ski Resorts in the winter.
Tim works with us during school breaks as a Coasteering, Canoeing, and SUP Instructor. He is passionate about the outdoors and is a big advocate of jumping off as high a cliff as possible (safely, of course!).

Fergal discovered his love for the outdoors at US summer camps, specializing in adapting programs for special needs clientele. He spent a decade working in a children's home specializing in autism before moving to sunny Pembrokeshire.

Anna is a true watersports enthusiast who owns her own kayak, SUP, and surfboard. Originally from Latvia, she has lived in the UK for 15 years. Trained in accounts, she keeps our booking office running smoothly while also helping with activities.

Jack joined us after years working on the Ardèche. He is an experienced paddler and Raft Guide who frequently travels Europe in search of the perfect river. When Jack isn’t in his boat, he is likely found coasteering or trying to surf something (possibly an ironing board).
