What to bring to your session

Wet activities

We provide you with:

  • Buoyancy aid.
  • Helmet.
  • Full winter Wetsuit all year. (Gloves, Hood, Socks season dependent).
  • Qualified Instructor.

 We would like you to bring:

  • Your old trainers (or Suitable, foot covering and secure footwear).
  • Towel.
  • Swim wear (to go under the wetsuit).
  • Shorts (to wear over the wetsuit, these may become damaged if you use your bottom as your feet).


Dry activities

We provide you with:

  • All required saftey equipment for your session.
  • Qualified Instructor.

 We would like you to bring:

  • Sensible footwear (if you are unsure please ask).
  • Small ruck-sack.
  • Water proof jacket/trousers.
  • Warm jacket.
  • Water to drink.
  • Sun-cream (yes even in Wales).
  • Camera.

NB Dry sessions are run a distance from any vehicles, it is good to be prepared incase of any weather changes. 


Why do I need shorts as well as swimwear?

Shorts are required for activities like Coasteering, River swims and Gorge walking to protect the bottom area of the wetsuit when people slide on their bums.

Can we change our activities?

Yes, you would need to let us know in advance, the more notice you give us the more flexable we can be.

How many nights can we stay for?

Totally up to you you give us your time frame and we can make a program for you.

What Facilities do you have?

We use mostly remote sites with very few amenities, no one activity site is the same, some have toilets near and others have a cafes; contact us for more info.

Can I wear contact lenses or glasses?

Yes, make sure you have a spare pair though as they do some times come off/wash out. We usually tape glasses so they are less likley to come off.

Do your sites have disabled access?

Yes, contact us to find which of our sites offer disabled access.

What group sizes can you accomadate?

We can provide accomodation and activities for groups from 1-150.

Do you need to be able to swim?

It is prefered you can swim at least 50m but not a necessity.

Do we need to provide our own wetsuits?

No, for all of our activities we provide all the specialist equipment that your group will need. A full kit list will be provided during booking.

Do you have equipment to fit all sizes?

Yes, we have a wide range of sizes in all of our equipment. Before you head out on your activities our instructors will ensure that all equipment fits correctly and make any necessary changes.

Can I get lunch at the activity site?

We advise you bring a packed lunch if you are doing a full day with us, for half days your instructor can direct you to the nearest town for pubs/restaurant/cafe.

What if I have a medical condidtion?

Our instructors are trained to deal with different situations we can easily accomidate people with diabeties, asthma, mild epilepsy, autism and more contact us for more info.

Can I bring swimming goggles?

Yes, but for activities like coasteering you would need to remove them for the jumps.

Can we do the activity in the rain?

Yes, all water activites can be done in the rain. Climbing is our most weather dependent activity.

What if the weather/sea is stormy?

If sea conditions are too rough to venture out we have back up locations close to the venue and secondary backup locations a little further away.
