Great glens canoe trip

Adventure Beyond has been working with groups doing their Duke of Edinburgh Award since we were first set up in 1997.

We are an Approved Activity Provider though the Duke of Edinburgh Award as well as being a (AALA) Adventure Activities Licensing Authority approved centre.

We are specialists in canoe, kayak and walking expeditions from the total beginner never looking at a map not knowing how a tent is pitched through to the more experienced groups looking at challenging themselves at gold.

We offer all of these choices at the three award levels:

We provide training, practice and assessed expeditions.

Training is provided at a suitable venue depending upon the type of expedition undertaken and location of yourselves. We often travel around the country providing this at schools, out on the hills or rivers. We always try our best to accommodate the busy schedule of the groups and schools quite often groups undertaking the DofE are in their exam years, will aim to make this fit as best is possible into their programme.

Unaccompanied Practice Expeditions will have qualified staff overseeing by distance supervision, this is to ensure if their are any situations arising help can arrive in a timely manner.
