Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Walking expeditions

Completing an assessment by foot is highly rewarding. During the process of training through to assessment you will learn many skills which will set you up for life.

We provide a high level of training throughout the process and all of our staff are qualified mountain leaders holding a first aid qualification, CRB checked and DofE Assessors.

During the training stage we are happy to travel to the schools to provide training on site to help keep the costs down (things like pitching tents and map skills). We would then head into the local areas where appropriate to continue map work and navigation prior to expeditioning.

Locations for the expedition can be anywhere in you want we are happy to travel around, so if you would like training in England and a practice in Wales with the assessment in Scotland we will be happy to do this with you.

If you have thoughts in mind or open to suggestions give us a call and we can discuss you needs with you.
